Terms of Service & Returns
Effective Date: January 1st, 2025
By using our website, services, or placing an order for customized products with Beyond Your Branding, LLC or on beyondyourbranding.com you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Order Processing and Production
1. Custom Product Orders Once an order for custom products is placed, it is immediately sent to production where components, raw materials, blank apparel, and other necessary items are sourced and sent to our decoration facility or fulfilled by one of our many print partners across North America.
2. Cancellation Policy Due to the nature of custom products, we cannot always cancel an order once it has been placed. The scope of sourcing materials and starting the production process makes cancellations challenging. If a cancellation is possible, it may be subject to a 50% restocking fee and additional cancellation fees.
Design and Artwork
3. Design Approval and Artwork Requirements:
Customers must submit print-ready artwork files in the appropriate format for production. Vector files are required for most printing methods, while raster images for large-format printing must be at least 300 DPI at the final print size.
Acceptable file formats include: AI, EPS, SVG, PDF (vector-based), PSD, TIFF, and high-resolution PNG/JPG (300 DPI for large format only).
Note: Ensure all texts objects are converted to outlines before submitting your vector files. Remove transparent effects such as drop shadows, gradients, and glow effect layers are removed as they typically not translate to printing of physical products and can leave unwanted artifacts
If submitted artwork requires conversion or retracing (e.g., JPG/PNG to scalable vector format), this will be billed at $50 per hour with a $50 minimum. Customers will be notified if the cost exceeds the minimum before proceeding. Vector artwork cleanup, conversion, and outlining are billed at the same rate, with a minimum of $25, depending on complexity.
We are not responsible for issues related to low-quality artwork, incorrect color conversions (e.g., RGB to CMYK/Pantone/spot color), or improperly formatted files that do not meet our specifications.
For non print quality conversions, we do our best to match the proper values using Pantone conversions for spot and CMYK print colors, but the colors will not always match with what is shown in a RGB format. (ie: how your artwork looks on a computer screen vs. on the finished product)
4. Quality Assurance: We stand behind our products 100%. If a product is found to be defective (e.g., missing components, damaged products), please contact us directly for a replacement or credit. More information on this topic can be found in sections 7-10 below.
Delivery and Shipping
5. Delivery Dates We always strive to meet your deadlines; however, during peak times such as holidays, carriers may not always deliver ground shipping orders on time. We recommend selecting expedited shipping options during these periods to ensure timely delivery.
6. Force Majeure Beyond Your Branding, LLC is not responsible for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts of God, such as natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, regional wars, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Warranty and Returns
7. Product Defects and Returns If a defect results from manufacturing or printing, we will replace the product. Some cases may require a return before replacement. Returns are accepted within 30 days unless otherwise specified.
If a return is required, the client must make the package available for UPS or FedEx pickup. If not received within 30 days, the claim will be closed. In some cases, returns may not be necessary, and we will provide instructions on how to proceed. If a return is not needed, we may recommend donation, recycling, or disposal.
We do not accept returns for incorrect artwork, low-quality artwork, incorrect quantities, or late deliveries. (see sections 9 & 10 below)
Clients must report defects within 72 hours of receipt by emailing [email protected] with photos of the issue. A Customer Service Representative will review the claim and determine the best resolution. Customers may need to submit digital proof of defects or return the product at their own expense. If a defect is confirmed, return shipping may be reimbursed.
8. Expedited Orders Rush orders are non-refundable unless the carrier delivers a defective product or fails to deliver. Reprint turnaround times depend on production availability. Turnaround begins upon written proof approval—verbal approvals are not accepted.
9. Customer Supplied Artwork We are not responsible for errors in artwork provided by customers through our online design tool, including typos, incorrect dates, or design flaws not caught before submission.
10. Color Proof Accuracy Due to variations in proofing and printing processes, final printed colors may differ slightly from proofs. We are not responsible for minor color discrepancies. Customer-supplied proofs are not calibrated to our printing presses and may result in variations.
Production Standards
11. Artwork Adjustments To ensure the highest quality of the final product, our production team may make adjustments to customer artwork. This may include changes to line spacing within the logo or design to prevent spaces from filling in, or in the case of embroidery, adjusting the thickness or entirely changing fonts as necessary to ensure text legibility. These types of adjustments are considered to be an industry standard and are necessary to ensure our clients receive the highest quality products.
12. Overruns and Underruns Due to the nature of the production process, there may be a variance of +/-5% in the quantity of products delivered. This is considered an industry standard, and final invoices may be adjusted accordingly. While we always strive to ship the exact quantity ordered, requesting an exact quantity may require an additional charge.
